We’re always working to make your MonkeyPod even more awesome. And if you’re looking to find the latest improvements we’ve made, you’re in the right place. The Roadmap Review is our regular update on the latest and greatest MonkeyPod enhancements.

We know our users are a passionate bunch, so this review isn’t meant to be a one-way street. Volunteer HQ: Open Beta

Our team has been hard at work on our latest premium app – Volunteer HQ – and we’re ready for you to start putting it through its paces.

With MonkeyPod, you’ve always been able to track your volunteers in MonkeyPod using roles and add any custom attributes you need. With Volunteer HQ, you can now track volunteer interests, opportunities, and hours. Hours can be added for any number of custom volunteer opportunities, and we’re automatically generating insights so you can visualize the impact your volunteers are making.

Volunteer HQ is available today for all MonkeyPod subscribers in the App Marketplace.

Volunteer HQ is currently in public beta, and we have a few additional enhancements planned. We’re going to give your volunteers the opportunity to log time through the Community Portal and let you create smart email lists for your volunteers. But we’re also using this beta to collect feedback from you. If you have ideas for how we can make Volunteer HQ even more powerful, email us at support@monkeypod.io.

Engage Your Constituents With the All New Community Portal

We’re excited to share even more ways for your community to interact with your organization. You’ve always been able to provide donors with access to a portal where they can manage their recurring donations. But we’re enhancing that portal for other types of constituents too.

Now, if you’re using our Member HQ app, your members can access their membership information from the Community Portal and even generate a membership card with a QR code. And if you’re using Board HQ, your board members can access meeting information, resources, and meeting minutes from the Community Portal.

Configure Membership Reminders

In addition to featuring member information in the Community Portal, we’ve also made it easier for you to communicate with your members when using Member HQ. In the Member HQ app, you now have the ability to configure reminder emails to automatically send to your members before their membership renews.

If you’re managing membership billing automatically through Stripe, this is a great way to give your members a heads up before their payment information is charged. And if you’re manually managing membership billing, it’s even easier to remind your members to pay for the next year of their membership.
